Travelling with a baby usually means a boot full of equipment and a list of worries: what if there's no cot, no high chair, no way to bath them? Here, the essentials are already waiting. We are parents of three young children, and we kitted out both cottages the way we'd have wanted to find them.
Baby gear, provided and at no extra charge.
A travel cot with sheet and mattress protector, a baby bath, a high chair: all on request, nothing added to the bill. Beds are made on arrival, linen provided, end-of-stay cleaning included. You arrive almost empty-handed and leave without the chores.
Quiet, for naps and for your evenings.
The two cottages are sound-insulated from each other, and the bocage around stays quiet. The baby naps while the house lives gently; in the evening, once the little ones are down, the silence is yours.
Reversible air-conditioning keeps the bedrooms cool in summer and mild in the shoulder seasons. And for late returns after a full day, keypad self-check-in means you wake no one.
The park, even with a baby.
Puy du Fou is 35 minutes away: close enough to come back for a nap and head out again, or to cut a long day short without drama. When the park can wait, the Sables-d'Olonne sea (50 min) and the bocage lanes make for calm days at a child's pace.

A travel cot with sheet and mattress protector, a baby bath and a high chair, on request and at no extra charge. Tell us your child’s age when you book.
Are the bedrooms quiet for naps?
Yes. The two cottages are separated by acoustic insulation and the estate sits in the quiet of the bocage: the baby sleeps while the house lives gently.
Can we come back for a nap during a day at Puy du Fou?
The park is 35 minutes away: a round trip for a nap is doable, and keypad self-check-in lets you come back late without waking the little ones.
Should we bring our own pushchair?
Yes, ideally one suited to country lanes if you want to explore the bocage. Tell us your needs before arrival and we will prepare what we can on our side.
Do you accept pets?
Pets are not allowed in either cottage, which also keeps allergens down for the little ones.
